You need to be aware that the Terms and Conditions can change at any time, so it is important that you familiarise yourself with any changes that may have be made prior to ordering. If you do not accept these Terms and Conditions then please refrain from using or accessing this Website.

HOW THE CONTRACT IS FORMED BETWEEN YOU AND US

After placing an order, you will receive an email from us acknowledging that we have received your order. Please note that this does not mean that your order has been accepted. Your order constitutes an offer to us to buy items displayed for sale on this Website. All orders are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you an email that confirms that items have been dispatched. The contract between us will only be formed when we send you such dispatch confirmation. The contract will only relate to those items ordered whose dispatch we have confirmed in such confirmation, and we will not be obliged to supply any other items that may have been part of your order until the dispatch of such items has been confirmed in a separate dispatch confirmation. Anyone who is not a party to the contract is not entitled to enforce any of its terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

The following terms and conditions will apply between you and SussexUniforms.co.uk when you purchase an item from us. The terms do not affect your statutory rights.

You guarantee that all goods ordered by you are for your own private and domestic use only and are not for resale; You must be over eighteen years old to use this website, if you are under this age, you must only access this website in conjunction with and under strict supervision of a parent / guardian. If you do not qualify, log off immediately, permission is denied. Any and all details that you submit to SussexUniforms.co.uk for the purpose of ordering or buying goods are true, accurate, current  and complete in all respects and that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds in your account to cover payment of the product(s) ordered; It is illegal to use a false name or a known invalid credit/debit card to order.  Anyone caught doing so will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of authorities. We take this very seriously and will prosecute.

MAKING A PURCHASE

It couldn’t be easier, simply click on the appropriate school and then on the item you wish to browse, as an added extra, we’ve included a size guide to help you in making the right choice. When you have finished shopping, click on the “basket symbol”  to have a look at your purchases and continue to the checkout when you are happy with your selection. At checkout you will be asked for a few details that we need in order to process your order. Take your time and ensure that all the details that you submit are accurate and correct.  A confirmation email detailing your order will be sent, please ensure that you check that this is accurate and notify us immediately if there are any discrepancies.

PAYMENT

We accept VISA & MASTERCARD credit and debit card payments via Sage Pay secure online card processing service.  We also accept payment via the telephone for credit and debit cards. Please be aware, that no order will be despatched for shipping until it is paid for in full. For more information, please refer to our Security Policy.

PRICES

Our prices are set out on our website in Pounds Sterling, inclusive of VAT where applicable and are correct at the time of entering the information, however SussexUniforms.co.uk reserve the right to change the prices of any products at any time without notice.
Whilst we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, mistakes can sometimes occur and if we discover an error in the price of any of our products you have ordered we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option of either reconfirming your order at the correct price or to cancel it.

DELIVERY

SussexUniforms.co.uk aims to deliver your goods to all UK Mainland addresses within 5-10 working days of your order being placed (due to increased demand despatch will be up to 20 working days during July and August and subject to stock availability). SussexUniforms.co.uk will not be liable for any delays in delivery.
When your order is ready to be dispatched you will receive an email notification from our dedicated courier company, which will have a tracking number and a link to our courier’s website. Please refer to this email and click on the relevant link then enter your tracking number if requested.

At the point of purchase, customers are given an option to have their order delivered to an alternative address or left in a specific place. PLEASE NOTE THAT SUSSEXUNIFORMS.CO.UK CAN NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE TO ANY OF THE ITEMS PERTAINING TO YOUR ORDER IF THIS OPTION IS SELECTED.

We will inform you as soon as we can if we are unable to deliver your order and you may agree an alternative delivery period or you may cancel the order.  In no event shall we be liable for any damages or penalty for any delay in delivery.
In the unusual circumstance that you have not received your order within 30 days of the shipping confirmation notification please notify us immediately. If you do not notify us within 60 days of the shipping confirmation notification that your order did not arrive we cannot be held responsible for any refunds or replacements.

DELIVERY PRICE PROMISE

In order to offer our customers value for money, SussexUniforms.co.uk has different shipping rates depending on the amount you purchase and your shipping address. The shipping rate for your order will be shown at check-out stage, prior to processing your payment.
POST-BREXIT CUSTOM CHARGES AS OF 1ST JANUARY 2021
When delivering outside of the United Kingdom SussexUniforms.co.uk cannot be held liable for any additional custom charges associated with an order.

RE-DELIVERY COSTS

Your email confirmation will specify when your order is scheduled to be delivered, please note that we are not able to give specific delivery times. If you are not available to take receipt of your order and no other instructions have been given by yourself at the time of checkout, the courier company will attempt delivery, or will leave you a card to tell you that they have left it at a secure area of your property (if requested).  After the second failed attempt your Sussex Uniforms order will be returned to us and we will contact you to re-arrange delivery.

SussexUniforms.co.uk will charge customers for a re-arranged delivery and a courier return fee (after two previous attempts have been made to deliver and proved unsuccessful). Alternatively if the order is cancelled after the unsuccessful deliveries, Sussex Uniforms will deduct the courier return fee from your refund.

HOW LONG ARE ORDERS KEPT FOR COLLECTION?

One of our Sales Team will contact you to let you know when your order is ready to be collected.  Click & Collect orders will then be held for 14 days from this date. After 14 days your order will be refunded.

BACK ORDERS

If your item is not in stock, we will back order it for you.  You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

EXCHANGE AN ITEM

If an item is damaged, faulty or we have made a mistake with your order, SussexUniforms.co.uk will be happy to exchange the item, subject to availability, if you notify us within 3 working days. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.
The exception to this is our print and embroidery service. If you have provided your own items for us to embroidery or print, we cannot be held responsible for any production issues with decorating these garments and will only re-print or re-embroider a garment supplied by you. On items we supply, we will replace the whole item including decoration. Please visit our returns centre for more information.

RETURNS

If for any reason you are unhappy with an item that you have purchased from us, you can return it to us in its original condition within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, and this does not affect your Statutory Rights.  Please visit our returns centre for more information.

PRIVACY POLICY

SussexUniforms.co.uk does not disclose buyer’s information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment.  In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party. For more information, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

RISK AND TITLE

Items ordered by you will be at your risk from the time of their delivery. Ownership of items ordered by you will only pass to you when we receive full payment of all sums due in respect of such items or upon their delivery, which is the later.

SECURITY POLICY

SussexUniforms.co.uk uses Sage Pay to process credit and debit card payments. Credit card details are never received or held by SussexUniforms.co.uk.
Sage Pay provides secure online credit and debit card payment solutions for thousands of online and mail order businesses across the UK. They have become one of the largest independent Payment Service Providers in the UK. All transaction information passed between merchant sites and the Sage Pay Systems is encrypted using 128-bit SSL certificates. No cardholder information is ever passed unencrypted and any messages sent to SussexUniforms.co.uk from Sage Pay are signed using MD5 hashing to prevent tampering. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing passed to the Sage Pay servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information.

Sage Pay uses 3D secure Authentication, which stands for 3 Domain Secure and is the latest fraud prevention initiative launched by the card schemes as a more secure method for authenticating you at the time of transactions.

ABOUT SAGE PAY ENCRYPTION AND DATA STORAGE

Once on our systems, all sensitive data is secured using the same internationally recognised 256-bit encryption standards used by, among others, the US Government. The encryption keys are held on state-of-the-art, tamper proof systems in the same family as those used to secure VeriSign’s Global Root certificate, making them all but impossible to extract.  The data we hold is extremely secure and we are regularly audited by the banks and banking authorities to ensure it remain so.

SYSTEM SECURITY

Sage Pay’s systems are scanned quarterly by Trustwave which are an independent Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) and an Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) for the payment card brands.
Sage pay is also audited annually under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS) and is a fully approved level 1 payment service provider, which is the highest level of compliance.  We are also active members of the PCI Security Standards Council (SSC) that defines card industry global regulation.

LINKS TO BANKS

Sage Pay has multiple private links into the banking network that are completely separate from the Internet and which do not cross any publicly accessible networks. Any cardholder information sent to the banks and any authorisation message coming back is secure and cannot be tampered with.

INTERNAL SECURITY

Sage Pay is controlled by Iris Scanners, which are the latest and most precise biometric security devices available for identification.  As used by; chemical plants, airports, police stations, prisons and other facilities where security is paramount. No one can enter or leave the building without a valid security pass.

DISASTER RECOVERY

Sage Pay operates on twin data centres to ensure optimal system security and up-time and has a full disaster recovery and business continuation policy.
We urge children under 18 years of age to check with their parents or guardians before using the internet, as usages will often result in personal information being collected.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

In respect of any cause of action or claim (including any action under any tort (including negligence), for breach of contract, for misrepresentation (other than fraudulent misrepresentation), for intellectual property infringement, under any statute or otherwise) arising out of or in connection with any purchase of items made from us (whether through this Website or otherwise), with any loss or damage to any purchased items in transit, with any use of this Website or otherwise: (i) we shall (if and to the extent that the cause of action relates to any or all of the items purchased) repair or supply the items in question again or refund the amount paid by you in respect of the items in question; and (ii) save in respect of liability for death or personal injury due to negligence, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other liability that cannot be in any way excluded or limited at law:
Our entire liability shall be limited to and not exceed an amount equal to the value of the items purchased by you or the actual proceeds received by us under our relevant insurance policy or policies in respect of the liability in question, which is the greater; and
We shall not be liable for any such cause of action or claim unless you have given us notice of the cause of action or claim within three months of becoming aware of the circumstances giving rise to cause of action or claim or, if earlier, three months from the time you ought reasonably to have become aware of such circumstances.
Save in respect of liability for death or personal injury due to negligence, liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation or for any other liability that cannot be in any way excluded or limited at law, we shall not be liable to you for any of the following whether arising from any cause of action or claim arising out of or in connection with any purchase of items made from us (whether through this Website or otherwise), with any loss or damage to any purchased items in transit, with any use of the Website or otherwise (including under any tort (including negligence), for breach of contract, for misrepresentation (other than fraudulent misrepresentation), for intellectual property infringement, under any statute or otherwise);
Any indirect, special or consequential losses;

LAW

The Conditions shall be governed by and construed with the laws of England and Wales and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.  If any provision of these Terms and Conditions are found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, it will be severed from the rest of the Terms and Conditions which shall remain unaffected.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

These Terms and Conditions represent the entire agreement and understanding between you and us relating to any purchase of items made from us and any use of this Website and supersede all other statements, representations of warranties (whether written, made by email or oral) made by you and us in respect thereof. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall affect the liability of either party in respect of any misrepresentation, warranty or condition that it makes fraudulently.

FORCE MAJEURE

We shall not be liable to you for any delay in, or failure of, performance of our obligations under these Terms and Conditions arising from any cause beyond our reasonable control including any of the following: act of God, governmental act, war, fire, flood, explosion or civil commotion, failure in information technology or telecommunications services, failure of a third party (including failure to supply data) and industrial action.
